This company aims to create nothing but the best theatre productions reflecting our heritage, present and future like only Committed Artists Group could, always putting SA on the frontlines, be it in the struggle to eradicate apartheid by isolating the then order, (Sarafina 1 – fighting apartheid) or calling for the new order, (Sarafina 2 – spreading HIV awareness).

The company is committed to the social and economic upliftment of the society from which it is borne. After the success of Mbongeni Ngema’s internationally acclaimed classical drama, Woza Albert, Committed Artists has created the equally acclaimed productions Sarafina, Asinamali, Township Fever, Magic at 4am, Sarafina 2, The Zulu, Mama, Maria Maria, The Best of Mbongeni Ngema, House of Shaka, 1906,  Lion of the East and now No.43.
